Grocery Shopping List
I find it easy to do our weekly grocery shopping when I have a ready-made list when I’m ready to go out the door.
This list sits on our refrigerator through the week and as items get used up, we check the box next to the needed item. That way I don’t have to do any scrambling on grocery day to figure out what we need! This greatly helps with meal planning, as well as helps us keep our grocery spending to a minimum, as I rarely grab items in the store saying, “I think we need more of this…”
The list is provided here in two formats: PDF for those who would like a print-ready option, and a Word .doc for those who would like a customizable version so you can change it according to the foods you use in your own home.
On both versions there is a blank column on the right entitled “This Week At…” I use this space to write reminders to myself of weekly deals at our local stores or specific items I want to remember to pick up at the weekly farmer’s market.
Jesse Tree Guide (abridged)
The Jesse Tree is an Advent tradition I’ve come to cherish with my children. These unique readings for Advent use Scripture from throughout the Old and New Testaments to point to Christ’s coming, which makes Christmas all the more meaningful and poignant. Download this guide to use with your family.
